Hoopa Valley Tribal Forestry is requesting bids for Hand Tree Planting on the Hoopa
Valley Reservation, for no less than 260.2 acres. Bids for this contract must be
submitted before 2PM Thursday, October 10th, at which time bids will be opened.
Minimum and Maximum bid range has been established for this project. Bids not within
this range will not be considered for award. Bids submitted as a partnership must
be accompanied by a notarized partnership agreement. Individuals submitting a bid
will be considered as a sole proprietor and not allowed to form a partnership after
award of this contract. Proof of worker’s compensation insurance and General Liability
insurance will be required before award of this contract. Hoopa Tribal Preference
applies for Tribal Member bids. Non-Indian bids will be accepted. The Hoopa Valley
Drug and Alcohol Policy apply to this contract. Contractors are responsible for complying
with the new Forestry Department sanitation memo (available at the Forestry Dept.).
Copies of bid package, maps, and T.E.R.O. ordinance are available at the Hoopa Tribal
Forestry Office on Loop Road, Hoopa. Hoopa Tribal Forestry reserves the right to
